Chunna bhakriis a traditional bhakri made of ukde tandul. This bhakri is usually preparedduring rainy season and a warm and sweet dish.

  • Udke tandul(paraboil rice)-2atiye (2kg)
  • God (Jaggery)- 3 handful
  • Nall (Coconut) - 2
  • Kaju biyo (Cashew nuts)- 20
  • Barik kelli pan (Small pieces of banana leaves)-4
  • Mit (Salt) to taste

    Roast cashew nuts

    Soak Ukde tandulfor at least 12 hours and wash thoroughly before grinding it with traditional ragdo

    Add grated coconut, small pieces of cashew nuts, and jaggery and mix properly

  • Mark As Complete

    Take some of the rice flour mixture or“Pitacho Gulo” and apply it toa banana leaf with clean hands

    Fold the leaf in half to pack the chunna

    Heat a tavo(griddle) and put bhakri for cooking

    When the banana leaves turn black, remove theChunna bhakrifrom the flame

    Cut thebhakriinto small pieces and serve with tea
